A wedding is a milestone that immortalizes your relationship and celebrates your future as a couple. It’s also an opportunity to document iconic moments you’ll want to remember but will be spinning in circles too fast to see: Aunt Doris laughing so hard her martini shoots out of her nose, your best friend breaking it down on the dance floor to “Supersonic”, or your nephew hiding the mashed potatoes in the pockets of his tiny suit ... until they spill out onto your mom’s sequined dress. I started out photographing music but quickly realized that everyone is a rock star when they’re captured as their true selves. Small, intimate parties, huge bashes, LGBTQ weddings, two-person elopements, and everything in-between — I want to capture the spirit of your day because I love photos that represent who you are and not just how good you look. I’ve had over a decade of experience doing just that.

• Pricing includes print resolution JPG files + online gallery.
• The benefit of booking a second photographer is that it gives us the chance to capture both of you during the pre-ceremony prep time, ensures that guests are covered during cocktail hour, and offers a second perspective on the big events of your day. This is especially helpful if there’s a balcony or mezzanine at your venue. I recommend that weddings with over 125 guests book two photographers, so when there’s a lot going on at once we have you and your guests covered.

This is the slow, intimate family dinner with all the special stuff that won’t happen on your wedding day – long, personal toasts, time to talk with people, and a chance for your wedding party to grill family for embarrassing stories from your youth. While having a relaxing dinner on your wedding day is a little bit like explaining tax code to a puppy, a rehearsal dinner is my chance to capture you at your most comfortable with all your favorite people.
The wedding day is often planned and rushed. Your daily life probably doesn’t include six hours of preparation and a team of professionals ushering you to the next destination. I’d like to get to know the other side and give us a chance to play around for an hour and a half. I think of engagement sessions as a way for us to get to know each other, and for you to get photos of yourselves wearing less formal, but still kick-ass, outfits. So let’s make it about you. Take me to your secret spot. Do you love to cook together? Do you connect best over competitive pinball? Maybe you love to dress up your dog and cat as presidential candidates and stage debates. These photos will be a record of who you are as a couple.
NOT SO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’m a documentary photographer but not a true photojournalist. A photojournalist isn’t seen or heard, and wouldn’t move a plastic bottle if it was in the way of a good photo. I value maintaining the integrity of the moment but also understand the need to put people at ease. I get to know your guests, earning their trust, and gaining access to the spaces where only friends and loved ones are allowed. By behaving like a guest I become a symbiotic part of your event rather than an uninvited intrusion.
Absolutely! I’ve toured the world documenting weddings and keep my passport up to date. I can give you a custom quote for travel following our initial meeting.
I’ll put together an agreement that holds your date until signed for up to 7 days. Once the agreement is signed and I receive your retainer (half of the package subtotal), we’ll be officially official and I’ll lock down that date just for you and only you.
Your final payment is due one month prior to your event date. Checks and Venmo payments are preferred. Credit cards are accepted for final installments only and are subject to a 4% surcharge.
Yes, you’re guaranteed to receive at least 400 images for an 8-hour wedding. Each image is delivered as a 300dpi (print resolution) JPG file and has been adjusted for exposure, contrast, and color, with stress breakouts on your forehead erased from history. You also receive personal printing rights, so you may either have enlargements made by the consumer printer of your choice or through my professional lab, which is connected to your gallery.
I hire my seconds from a network of photographers I’ve worked with across the world and respect immensely. I choose photographers with a similar approach and working style so the images blend together seamlessly. All of them operate their own independent photography businesses.
