Baby Jasper

Remember Mary, Alex & Sancho?  They made a baby!  (Well, I don’t think Sancho had anything to do with it.)

Baby Jasper came into this world on May 3rd, 2009 and has been taking in everything he can with those big blue eyes ever since.

I met up with them and Mary’s parents at Villa Heidelberg, a quaint 100 year old bed & breakfast in West Seattle for a newborn + new family session.

Renata & Philip: Seattle Public Library

Renata, a photographer in her own right, and Philip met in Chicago ten years ago and are finally gettin marriaged this August down in Oregon.  For their engagement session we took toured Rem KoolhaasSeattle Central Library, keeping our voices to a minimum.  Much of our shoot was guided with whispers, hand gestures and of course, silly faces.

all of a sudden it’s the summertime

Required listening for today:  Telekinesis, All of a Sudden

michael_benjamin_lerner_summertime

Telekinesis was the perfect roadtrip album this weekend.  Must have played it 10+ times back to back. I just about got the hand claps down now.  Be sure to check out Dianna‘s video for Tokyo, another one that gets me dancing in the seat.
