This sweet canine belongs to the Studerus family, who I’ll be posting images of tomorrow. We had some alone time while the baby was getting changed and I can’t keep these to myself any longer.
Congratulations to Natalie & Jake, who knotted this past May at Pravda Studios. We started the day off at the Sorrento Hotel. If you’re in the market for a couture dress, Natalie is selling the gorgeous AMSALE she wore. Email me for more info.
Seeing each other for the first time. This awesome room is next to the penthouse.
More around the hotel
Back at Pravda, the fun begins. Here are Jake’s boys checking in with him one last time. You know, that moment when you’re the most nervous of the whole day? Love it.
Here comes Natalie and her grandfather. Aren’t they adorable?
Abby peeking out behind all 3 bouquets!
The deal is sealed!
On our way to make some bridal party pictures:
Carrot cake layered with ginger mousse and cream cheese frosting. Can you say Pavlov’s dog?
Haven’t I seen this photo somewhere before?
building up to, and making, a toast:
Mmmmm cake
Let the dancing begin!

I’m still on a such a high from this weekend. I documented a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Tucker House Bed & Breakfast on San Juan Island this Saturday and used Sunday to catch up with my lady Amy Blascke who is in town for a show at Nectar tonight. I’ll be there, camera in hand. Check back later this week for a proper post of images from Natalie & Jake’s wedding (you may remember them from their Olympic Sculpture Park engagement session or Venus Karaoke B-Party posts). Here’s a teaser for now:
Shot an afterparty for Hannah Levine’s Rocket Queen column in the Seattle Weekly. Met up and coming band MGMT, watched Matt of Light in the Attic Records drop a beer in Hannah’s purse, recorded contents of said purse and was introduced to the Saturday Knights’ new album (release party at Nectar next Friday). Came home smelling like smoke and reminded of why I don’t. Evidence below.
