First, a heads up that I’ll be out of the office until March 5th, super excited to be teaching at the Photo Field Trip conference in Santa Barbara this weekend.
In the meantime, here’s a little scene I witnessed while visiting the Piazza Duomo in Lecce, a beautiful city in the Puglia region of southern Italy. I immediately thought of the 1956 movie, Le Ballon Rouge (The Red Balloon), one of my favorites as a child. This story ends a little differently. So sad to see the balloon fly off without the little guy.

mattit was amazing finally getting to meet you, then see you kill it at the lip-sync contest and then later get my beard man handled by you in line for dinner. good times.
