So much fun with these two. They kept it small, intimate and expressive at one of my favorite venues in Seattle, the Corson Building.

Small & intimate wedding at the Corson Building for Julia & Lucas, focused on the things that matter most; family, close friends & great food.
I’ve always loved photographing this Seattle venue. The staff is exceptional and the location feels like you’ve stepped into the south of France.
June wedding at the Corson Building in Seattle. AKA “Small Wedding, Big Dress”. Audra & Chris are lovers of great art, great food & great people. Many of the details were dreamt up & handmade by them, down to the ceramic cake topper. You can read more on their Ruffled Real Wedding feature.
Big love to planner Michelle Engvall for running it all and my friend Sergio Mottola, who backed me up on camera.
VENDORS: Photographer: That’s me // Wedding Planner: Married with Michelle // Venue & Catering: The Corson Building // Getting Ready Location: The Arctic Club // Florist: Marigold & Mint // DJ: Bryan with Emerald City Productions // Cake: Créme de la Créme // Dress: Vera Wang (aka “the Wang”)
Audra hand painted the invitation for their summer wedding at the Corson Building. Those chickens are rad, eh? Chris is also a talented artist.
TWO of my couples have images in the current issue of Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom!
First up, Nabil & Michaela’s August wedding at the Corson Building in Georgetown is one of the “Real Weddings” featured. Check out their blog post here for more images and details of the personal touches they put on their day. We’re talking Molly Moon ice cream in custom flavors, Amy Blaschke, Lavender Diamond, and the one and only chef Matthew Dillon.
Last but certainly not least are my dear friends, Sarah & Damien Jurado. Sarah was tapped to contribute to a Groom’s Guide article on reception music, using an image from their McLeod Residence wedding (she has great taste in music and men). Sarah & Damien chose DJ Sad Bastard (aka Michael Vermillion – who is an incredible musician in his own right) to represent their wide range of musical tastes.
