Real Wedding feature on Brooklyn Bride Blog : Steph & Trev

Brooklyn Bride is running a two part feature this week on Steph & Trev’s backyard wedding with all the juicy details behind it.  An excerpt:

“Trev and I met when we were 10 years old.  My grandma and I were going for a walk in the neighborhood, when I saw him playing on a slip n’ slide.  It was “like” at first sight.  Days later he asked me if I would pick blackberries with him, and I declined claiming that I just wanted to be friends.  We grew up together and were kid version of boyfriend and girlfriend many times (each time ending with an awkward instant messenger chat.)  We started dating again for the last time in high school and 6 years later… he asked me to  marry him!  A little over a year after that, we were married!”

Anderson Lodge Wedding : Emily & Shawna

Emily & Shawna are the kind of people you call when you want to know where the fun is because these two are always bringing it.  Their wedding had not one, but TWO lip synced performances (I hear they’re known for them), one to “You Really Got Me”, straight after the ceremony kiss, and another to “It’s Raining Men” spontaneously during the reception.  Barbecued ribs and custom home brewed beer paired perfectly with their Anderson Lodge wedding in the woods.  When their Japanese toy wedding toppers sunk into and fell off the top of the cake, they made the most of it and laughed it off.  They truly enjoy life to the fullest and love each other with everything they have.  This is how to live.
