I spotted these two while in the car crossing an intersection and pulled a sly fast grab for the camera.
Juan. I asked him if this was his truck and he said, “No, I don’t drink and drive”.
I don’t have a clue either.
Sweet Nate spends his Sundays at Brewsky’s. It took a while for him to warm up to me.
Nori, trying to start a dance party in the street.
Just half a block down from the above shenanigans is Full Tilt, an ice cream & pinball shoppe run by my friends and former wedding clients Ann & Opus. The Ninja Turtles soccer team came over to celebrate a win. They don’t actually keep score, so everyone wins. In my book, if you’re eating ice cream you are definitely winning.
Sonny waits to get his first tattoo at DZul while girlfriend Chelsea hangs out for support. I think she was more nervous than him. They’re a cute couple and let me hang out for a few shots.
Sonny chose a wise saying by Confucius to etch across his chest; “Our greatest glory is not in in never falling but in getting up every time we do.” A beautiful thing to be reminded of everytime you look in the mirror.
All shot for the Seattle Weekly.

KateI just love these. So touching. I would like you to photograph my life too please. 🙂
Bryan WitherwaxAhhh Jen, I saw this collection on the Seattle Weekly site. You should have told Melissa or I you were coming out to White Center to do this shoot we could have pointed you to some really interesting places in our neighborhood. Well maybe next time, right? Hope you are doing great!
