Meghan & I know each other from our college days at New Paltz, where we’d often sit around analyzing ourselves & society. She and her fiance Ivin are talented Brooklyn based artists. See Ivin’s fiberglass, aquaresin & acrylic painted sculptures here and Meghans paintings, ceramics and hooked rugs here.
Carly is responsible for unleashing the inner Jenny around a decade ago. When her band needed a bassist she said she’d wait until I learned how to play one. She was the first to dye my locks blonde and helped me grow out one of the most horrendous haircuts in history (see my driver’s license for evidence). When I had all but stopped taking photos eight years ago out of frustration, she took me aside and gave me the words of encouragement and support I sorely needed to pick up my camera again. We’ve driven across the country and back, sharing dreams, fears, clothes and deodorant. She’s one of those friends that no matter how long it’s been since you’ve spoken, you can easily pick up where you left off without apology. She now lives in NYC (giving the best hairjobs in Manhattan at Seagull!) with her boyfriend Eric who is quite a fashionisto, serving as District Manager for H&M. We met up for drinks on a recent trip to NY and they let me follow them with camera around midtown & the upper west side.
Two talented creatives in Brooklyn; Andy in graphic design and Caroline in textile design. Caroline runs the inspirational fashion blog, Looks Good to Me. Marlow was trained at the school of super awesome dog tricks and may be found winning ribbons at the annual Fort Greene Great Pupkin contest.

Natalie Champa JenningsSuch a great photograph! At first I thought it was his hand until I notices that lovely ring and realized the hand was also far too lovely to be male. Nice.
